From the Wall Street Journal: Overall, the total number of households that don't subscribe to pay-TV—a combination of cord-cutters and the far more common “cord-nevers” who had never signed up in the first place—will hit 20.8 million by the end of 2015, according to eMarketer, or about 17% of U.S. households.
I cut the cord on pay TV; I'm done with lesser things.
Netflix gives me all I want of cabbages and kings.
Redbox keeps me up to date on the latest flicks;
I can stream the local news (as done by local hicks).
HBO, ESPN, and the Weather Channel, too,
are now a distant memory and paltry bugaboo.
The house is still, there's books to read; coins jingle in my pocket --
and all because I dispossessed that demon from its socket!
